We are delighted to announce another strong set of GCSE results for 2026, with students achieving excellent outcomes across a wide range of subjects.
As a non-selective school, we are particularly proud of the achievements of our students, who have a wide range of abilities and individual needs. Every student works towards personalised targets based on their individual starting point and these results reflect the hard work, determination and resilience of our young people, alongside the commitment of our teaching and support staff.
Overall, 89% of GCSE entries achieved grade 4 or above, while 93% of students achieved five or more GCSEs at grade 4 or above. A particularly strong 79% achieved five or more GCSEs at grade 5 or above, demonstrating the breadth of achievement across the cohort.
The results also show strong performance in the key areas of English and Mathematics. 89% of English Language entries achieved grade 4 or above, while 75% of mathematics entries achieved grade 4 or above. Furthermore, 71% of students achieved five or more GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including both English and Mathematics.
There was also significant high-grade achievement, with 71% of students achieving at least one grade 7–9, while 33% achieved ten GCSEs at grade 4 or above.
The breadth of subject success is particularly pleasing, with 10 subjects recording 100% of entries achieving grades 4–9.
