Competing at Saffron Lane Stadium in Leicester in the Midlands Independent Schools Athletics Championships our senior athletes performed superbly well on the day. Thirty schools took part in the event.
Special congratulations to
- Joyella who became ISA Midlands Champion in the Yr 10/11 300m as well as taking second place in the 100m.
- Jack who became ISA Midlands Champion in the Yr 7 800m
- Clarke who became ISA Midlands Champion in the Yr 7 75m Hurdles
- Yr 7 Boys who became ISA Midlands Champions in the Yr 7 4 x 100m Relay
Joyella, Jack and Clarke as champions now qualify to represent the Midlands Area at the ISA National Championships at the Alexander Stadium, Birmingham later in June, along with Bertie in the 1500m where the top 2 gained selection. Joyella, Walter and Alfred have also been selected for their respective relay teams.
