Full/Part-Time Teaching Assistant for 1:1 SEND support

St. Dominic’s Priory School is a small, friendly, highly successful Catholic independent co-educational school, educating students from Pre-school to 16 years and welcoming children of all faiths.

The governors wish to appoint a either a full-time/part-time teaching assistant to support the work of the school.

The post is to support students with SEND. Hours and working times to be agreed with the candidate.  Term time only (36 weeks) plus 5.6 weeks paid holiday plus 2 compulsory inset days.  Salary of £12.91 per hour.

NEW – Assistant Cook (temporary) – Immediate start to May 2026

Do you have a passion for food and love working with children? If so, we would like to hear from you!

We have a vacancy for an Assistant Cook to cover staff absence. The post includes preparing food, serving breaktime snacks and lunch to pupils and staff, assisting with preparation and cleaning down and tidying at the end of service.

With fantastic hours – you will work Monday to Friday during school term time. Ideal to fit around any family commitments, providing an excellent work/life balance.
