SCHOOL CLEANER 

Location: St Dominic’s Priory School
Hours: 10 hours per week (2 hours per day) either 6-8 am or 5.30-7.30pm
Rate of Pay: £12.41 per hour
Term Time Only: 36 weeks per year
Actual Salary: £5,584.50

Additional Benefits:

• 3 weeks additional during closure periods
• 5.6 weeks paid holiday (during closure periods)
• 2 compulsory inset days
• 45 weeks per year paid
• Uniform provided (cleaning Tabard)

Job Purpose:

• Ensure that the school’s environment is clean, hygienic, and safe for students, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the school, including classrooms, offices, common areas, toilets, and washrooms.
• Support the health, safety, and wellbeing of the school community through effective cleaning practices.
