We believe that sport is for everyone, regardless of ability, and we want our pupils to adopt a life-long love of sport and to get involved in as many activities as possible.
Through inspiring teaching and high-level coaching, we ensure that all students at St. Dominic’s Priory School reach their sporting potential.
Pupils take part in badminton, basketball, boccia, climbing wall, cricket, football, golf, hockey, netball, rounders, sportshall athletics, swimming, table tennis, tennis, trampoline, volleyball.
Specialist external teachers also coach sport such as football, tennis, trampolining, table tennis, badminton, hockey and cricket.
As a member of the prestigious Independent Schools Association, St. Dominic’s regularly takes part in regional and national independent schools’ competitions as well as participating in the local Stafford and Stone, and Staffordshire Schools competitions which regularly result in notable success.
St. Dominic’s is proud to award scholarships to those pupils who show excellence in their discipline.
Sporting activities are also offered for those wishing to participate at a more recreational level.
