A Message from the Chair of the Parents & Friends Association

I have been the Chair of the school PFA since September 2023.

I have two children at St Dominic’s, a daughter in Y10 and a son in Y7.  I decided to take an active role within the PFA as I want to support such an incredible school.  St Dominic’s creates such a welcoming and nurturing environment and this school ethos extends to the parents and friends.

The PFA are motivated towards the common aim of supporting the school in many ways, and helping enrich and enhance the pupils’ experience. This is achieved primarily through fundraising, social events and assisting generally with tea and cake!

We organise a wide variety of regular events, including: The Christmas Fayre, Prep Discos, School Ball, Bingo events, Coffee Mornings, Ladies Evenings, Pop-up Shops and we also run the ‘pre-owned uniform’ shop.

Being part of the PFA is a great way to meet other parents, get to know staff and really feel a part of school life. 

New members and helpers are always welcome whatever you are able to contribute.  We normally hold two meetings per term; if you are interested in joining us, or have any fundraising ideas, please get in touch or come along to our next advertised meeting.
