Both my children attended St Dominic’s and absolutely thrived in its nurturing environment.  Pastoral care is front and centre of everything the school provides; the relatively small school community fosters a ‘family’ environment, where every individual pupil and their needs are recognised and catered for by a dedicated and caring staff.  As a result, students feel a sense of belonging and are fully supported to achieve their full potential, academically, and personally.  I feel very fortunate that both my son and daughter were able to enjoy the benefits and opportunities offered by this genuinely lovely school.

Our daughter has had an amazing first year at St Dominics. She has thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of school life and speaks so positively about all of her teachers.

Teaching has been encouraging, creative, engaging and interesting. It’s been lovely to see her develop a love and interest in absolutely all subjects, inspired by such enthusiastic teachers. Her confidence has grown in so many areas and we have enjoyed seeing her getting involved in so many varied activities. We are so pleased she’s here, and absolutely in the best hands.

I cannot recommend St Dominic’s Priory highly enough! My son moved here nearly 3 years ago after becoming a school refuser at his previous school. He arrived with no self-esteem or self-belief, having struggled with his confidence all his school life. Since joining St Dominic’s, he has had excellent support for both his dyslexia and his emotions, gaining a wonderful friendship group and excellent, supportive staff. The school went above and beyond to ensure that he sat his exams with all the support he needed, and I am thrilled with both his fabulous GCSE results along with him now being a well-rounded, confident and happy young man.
