Wellbeing for All

Published: 28th January, 2022

The mental health and wellbeing of our students has never been as important as now! Whilst working remotely through the pandemic, we connected with our children for every lesson and had many initiatives to keep the relationships and experiences with school as normal as possible. Of course, nothing can be better than being in school with normal routines and time to spend with their peers!

Here at St. Dominic’s we are ensuring we do everything to support our students. We have been able to reinstate our lunchtime and after school extra-curricular clubs, which incorporate many opportunities for sport, DT, mindfulness and fun activities for the children. Investment in equipment and resources at break and lunchtimes enables children throughout the whole school to have the space and tools needed to reconnect with each other and take ‘time out’ to focus on their mental health, wellbeing and friendships.
